Assistant Controller
Assistant Controller in Washington, DC.
We are looking for an Assistant Controller who can manage the general accounting function and a staff of 7 for this non-profit organization.
The role reports directly to the Controller and is primarily responsible for monthly close cycle, financial reporting, compliance with applicable regulations and internal control policies; audit engagements; and providing technical guidance.
Compensation and benefits are competitive.

Assistant Controller Requirements:
BS Accounting or Finance Ten years of related work experience Active CPA, required Strong knowledge of US GAAP, FAR, consolidation and not-for-profit reporting, required Strong general ledger experience related to account reconciliations and investigation of variances Demonstrated experience working in a government contracting environment, required Large ERP system experience required (PeopleSoft preferred but can be others) Able to handle large volume of workload A people person, willing to rollup your sleeves and dig in when needed #acc14403788 PandoLogic.
